Inscrutable purpose of creative expression. This aptly describes the musicality and sound crafting of Maximum Movement Theatre. Whatever the style, or genre/sub genre, there is meticulously produced meaning present in the performance. As I have said of past MMT projects, trying to unravel the mystery of the music is almost as enjoyable as the music itself. At least for me. But if listening is it for you, you will never be disappointed.
This composer is proficient, prolific and a trail blazer. This album, Psi, is again something novel. Both pieces are repeating, synthesized phrases with echoing exotic chants. Lovely and drifty.
The album is a continuum of an incredibly creative run for MMT. Production and performance, again pristine. Listen. Enjoy Psi. Listen again.
